Georgia Kontosorou

Georgia Kontosorou is currently working as Maternity Digital Programme Manager in London. Her focus has been on transforming maternity services in sustainable innovative ways, ensuring quality improvement and clinical safety for staff members and service users.

Georgia has a vast clinical experience across all departments of maternity services in Greece and the UK. She has also gained an MSc in Health Informatics and a PgCert in Digital Health Leadership gaining deep understanding on strategic leadership in healthcare leadership and management of service changes.

She has also recently become a Midwifery Coach able to provide consultations to midwifery units on how to build effective teams and collaborations focusing on individual and organisational benefits ensuring high quality clinical care and service users’ and staff positive experience satisfaction.

Finally, Georgia’s passion is equity and equality in maternity services for all, she has been involved in implementing Equity and Equality Strategies for Maternity Services as well as ensuring Digital inclusion population wide.
