To become a ‘full’ member of HBMA, the applicant should be a qualified midwife, as per the ICM definition of a midwife:
(i) of Greek or Cypriot nationality who live, work or study in the UK, no matter where they have obtained their Midwifery Bachelor’s Degree;
or
(ii) of any nationality who have studied in a Midwifery Higher Education Institution in Greece and live, work or study in the UK;
(iii) and be aligned with the values and ethos of HBMA
