To become a ‘non-midwifery’ member of HBMA (i.e. other health care practitioner (HCP) or a member of the public), the applicant should:
(i) be aligned with the values and ethos of HBMA
(ii) be a person who has a special interest in midwifery and/ or maternity care, evidenced by a short statement of why they want to become a member
(iii) has the approval of the HBMA’s board post their application
The Associate member has no voting rights, but they can attend an AGM.
